Dr. P Chandra Shekar

Dr. Chandra Shekar obtained his PhD from the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad where he worked in the area of Stem cell biology and mouse genetics. During hid is post-doctoral research at Mount Sinai Medical School (NY), InStem Bangalore and University of Edinburgh, he focused on understanding the autoregulation of Nanog and studying novel pluripotency factors/pathways in murine ES cells. He was a Wellcome Trust/DBT India Alliance Early Career fellow at inStem Bengaluru 2011-2013 and joined CCMB as a Senior Scientist in 2014.
